Has anyone had experience with any of these new age workout dvd's. Like those Tae-Bo videos or this new P90X workout dvd. I'm looking for some good cardio to do and was thinking about trying one out to change things up from the normal, boring elliptical and treadmill training. I think it looks like a good idea, but I just can't get over the idea that I will look and feel like a fool doing it.
There uis a post on workout dvd's and videos somewhere here....
I like Tae Bo but I like Turbo Jam even better.
Who cares what you look like if it beats the boredom of equipemnt cardio ? there is also a great threda in this forum at the top called cardio challenges - it is different wasy to change up your cardio routine - try some!

I bought several Tae Bo videos all at once. I started out with the 12 Power Rounds. I haven't moved on yet - it's HIIT and only about 20 minutes in length. I do feel a little silly doing it (only because I know I am not as good at it yet as the people in the video) But it is fun and I do it at 6am in my home. (where odds are only my 3 year old is watching and playing along) That's why I got these particular videos - I wanted to be sure I would enjoy the cardio and stick with it. (of course I have taken up Karate about a year ago, and the moves in Tae Bo are similar...so of course I like it...) I get a more intense workout each time I do it. (less concentration on how to do the moves and more power behind them)
