Every other muscle i work is correctly growing, the only muscle that refuses to any type of workout is my lats.

Ive used all the diffrent types of moves i know, and heavy weights, short reps and 4 sets.

It just refuses to go.

Any help?

Wide grip pull-ups are the best thing for you. If you can't do a lot of reps, try doing wide grip lat pull-downs with less than your body weight. Bent over rows are good, too. 4 sets may not be enough. Try weak-point training and boost your intensity and # of sets for whatever is lagging. Just an example: I was very unhappy with my chest, but with weak-point training (7 sets of intense bench, 5 sets of incline, 5 sets of flyes, and 4 sets of pullovers on chest days ) I noticed a big difference in the development of my pecs. I'm sure you'll do the same. Just remember not to concentrate only on that particular muscle group; you can't forget everything else just because one muscle seems to be lagging. Good luck!

The problem with the barbell row is that you have to keep lots of muscles tight in order to lift the weight... anyway heres some tips:
* go all the way down with your chin ups.
* try assisted one arm chinups, and one arm arc rows are good too.

If you're looking for a wide back and bulk remember that there are more than your lats to your back. Your trap muscle runs a long way from your neck to the lower back. As everyone says, good form with your pull ups, assissted to help you reach your target reps if needed. Wide grip, close grip pull ups(these are a blast).

The Bread and butter of back exercises is bent over barbell rows. Do them with good form, Of Course. Pull downs are good but don't be using your body weight to bring the weight down. Concentrate and flex your lats with every rep. So many people do back exercises wrong and don’t make any gains. If you want gains you must concentrate and make every rep count.
