Hello everyone,

Im 6 ft, 165 lb. My BMI is 23. I'm a newcomer to the whole body building world, and I would just like some input from the long time body building veterans  So to get to the point....What would be a good excercise routine to build some muscle? (Im quite skinny and don't have too much muscle at the moment). Last week I purchased a treadmill (for cardio)and some weights for weight lifting.
What I need to know is, what kind of foods should I eat for best results?
For instance what should I eat pre-cardio workout and post cardio workout? I run the treadmill for about 45 min. a day
at 4mph (I burn up to 600 calories) Let's say I want to do cardio first thing in the morning, will a protein bar do the trick for pre and post cardio? What should my daily calorie intake be if I workout 5 days a week? (Cardio and Weight lifting each day) weekends I recuperate. Also what should my pre and post workout foods consist of before a 1 hour session of weight training? Will a protein bar also work? (for hydration I drink SoBe Life Water (high in carbs).
And lastly, should I refer to supplements for better results? I was looking at Mega-Trim with Clarinol CLA (supposedly helps lose fat, and helps gain lean muscle). But i'm not sure if that would be good for me, because I weigh 165 lb. as it is, and losing fat might not be such a good idea. So, I hope someone will be kind enough to take some time and help me out, Any advice will be appreciated, Thanks!

Do not waste money on high priced supplements. EAT-to gain you need to eat. Lift heavier, after a 1-3 month period. By that you are considered a beginner so you need to set up the body to get used to lifting. That is the advice I have.....eat real food and train hard.
