Been working out with a friend for a couple months now and we have been hitting one to two muscle groups per day. Monday-Legs, Tuesday-Chest, Wednesday-Shoulder, Thursday Back, and Friday Tris and Biceps. I feel like I am no longer making gains. Would like to here some different workout routines or different types of split routines that have worked for other. Looking to gain lean mass and definition. Thanks

What are your workouts like? Are you pushing so your reps, the last 3 or so being difficult to the point of even needing a spot? Overload is the key to gain along with diet to sustain it.

One thing to remember, we all have different 'plateau' rates. We all reach 'intermediate' stage at a different point. A couple of months can well do it. But you have to realize that if you kept consistently making gains like when you started, we would all look like Arnold in a matter of a few months. As you notice in the gym and anywhere else, not too many folks look this way. (if it was that easy, a couple months, we would all be looking that way) It is hard work, and a continuous process.
