Well today we have a fitness competition here in Okinawa. I am excited. Didn't make it to do the show, but will go observe this one and we'll see for future shows. Last night I got to meet Dorian Yates and Earny Taylor. They are the first professional body builders I have met and it was a neat experience. Taylor is getting ready for Mr. Olympia, so he was very impressive. Yates doesn't compete anymore but he was still very nice. His calves were enormous and Taylor's triceps---WOW!!!!! He will be guest posing at the competition and I took pictures with both of them last night and will post them once I get the film developed.

I went to the show and it was great. No one had ever really done any competitions before and the women were awesome. The men needed quite a bit of work. Earnie Taylor made them look like snails. We had two fitness competitions and they did great. We also had about seven women compete in the bodybuilding. A lot more intense than I thought.

So Lisa, how do you feel about it?!!!!! Still want to do it? You're impatient, afraid, excited? What?!!!

I'm sooo lucky (or just stupid?!!) since I have never ever been afraid of getting on stage, but what's killing me the most is the time I have to wait...... I'm soooooooooo impatient!!!!!!!!

I am not really that shy anymore, so being on stage won't be bad. Not really sure how much I will actually get to train while on the drill field, because I will be working some really Loooong hours, but I am going to try my best and maybe be able to compete between platoons. We'll see. I would really like to do it. My tour will be 3 years, then I plan on another baby, but definitely after that I will work very very hard to do at least one show. I worked to hard to not show it off (I'm sure you can understand, Nina). I would really love to do it and maybe I will get lucky and timing will be good for me.
