Hi, odd question, any input would be GRATELY appreciated...I have about 3.5 months to reach my goal (loose15-30lbs) I am not that out of shape though, I mean I have a long history of sports under my belt...anyways my question:

I go to school/volunteer on the same two days of the week. The rest of the 5 days I don't have anything (I decided not wot work and now have no money but I need to reach my goal before I move to San Fran)
.....I start the free.trainers program tomorrow...but what else can I do to jumpstart everything using all that extra time...

I assume hike, bike, rollar blade etc for a few hrs each day,,, but ive reading about negative effects of carido, but I assume that is only for people who have not much fat and want lots of muscle.

Thanks in advance for your replies

Diet and recovery. Seriously though, if you are working out hard during the days that you are, then you are going to need the time off just to recover. A walk or slow roller blade isn't going to hurt you, but if it's your day off, make sure you aren't doing anything to stressful. You can take that extra time to focus on your diet.

It has been my experiance that people that set tight deadlines and work too hard in the beginning burn out. I have seen people keep adding and adding and then end up just quiting. I'd rather see you start off slow and keep your pace than start off to hard, not see results, and blow it off. I think you would be amazed how little time most of the advanced members here spend in the gym.
