Okay I have been consistenty working out hard all summer and have moved up in many areas including squat, bis, tris, and core strength. But as of late I have hit a plateau in bench. I was using the BFS method for bench and once I got in the 200-225 range I hit a wall. I have lost 30 pound of the summer as well but thats because I have watched my diet but could that effect it. When I bench I feel like im not working my chest and my arms hurt more than anything and the weight feels much heavier than it used when i lift it off. I work certain areas of shoulders, but from I've read it seems like it would be tris however I am pretty strong in the triceps area. What do you guys think?

If the weight feels heavy then you might have weak stabilizers(lats, rear delts...ect).
How long has it been since you took a week off?
How long have you been stuck?
Losing weight(especially 30lbs) is not conducive to strength gains so this might be contributing to the problem.

I never take weeks off lol, I took like 4 days off on vacation like a month ago. Ive been stuck for 2-3 weeks no significant gains in that period. I was around 240 but I lost the gut I had and am now 208 I didnt think that should hurt me.

Whenever you lose significant amount of weight be prepared to lose strength or for your lifts to stagnate. No matter how well you eat, you're still losing muscle. However working back to a weight you have done before is easier than getting there never having been there.
what do you currently do?
I would highly suggest shifting your mentality to major lifts. A few key lifts can work your entire body and create some amazing transformations(both in strength and appearance)

Are you still trying lose weight? If not eat a little more. By little I mean like 100 calories a day. continue to add some every 2-3 weeks until you stabilize. This will help your strength gains.

okay, well I don't want to gain any wieght only if its muscle, I want to keep my body fat % at a minimum. I will try to consume more calories and work on my stbilizer muscles and see what happens from there. Only bad part is that I will be tested in bench for football this up coming week and I don't think I'll be too impressive.

When you say "major lifts" there and a few "key lifts", to what are you referring? Things like squats/deads, or the olympic stuff like cleans and snatches? Or all of the above? Just curious.

He is talking about compound movements. For example:
Squats, Deadlifts, Over head presses, Chin ups, Dips, Rows, Bench. They all have variations. Do a web search and good luck
