Couple questions on losing weight?

Hello,
I am new to this sight and actually just started my nutrition and fitness plan today! I was wondering if I do the at home exercises this site recommends (push-ups, abs, can curls, etc) and diet will I lose pounds?:)

Yes you will, don't forget to add some cardio into that mix as well. Combination of weight training, nutrition and cardio will do wonders.
