I am needing some help with this:
I work out 1 hour a day. 40 mins cardio 25 mins weights
My nutritionist said I should eat 1400 per day.
What if I'm not hungry enough to eat that much?
Should I eat only if I'm hungry? Or eat to hit that calorie range? :dumbbell: I don't want to slow my metabolism, but I'm worried if I eat when I'm not hungry, I won't lose weight either. Thanks for you help!

Eat every 2-3 hours (5-6 times a day total). It's hard to say how many calories you should be eating without knowing your height or weight. It does sometimes feel like you are "force feeding" yourself when you aren't hungry, but the results will pay off. Ooops, speaking of. Time to go have my 3:00 snack that I'm 30 mins late for!

I don't know, I'm just a novice ;). Asimmer or one of the "big wigs" can maybe give you a calorie guideline, but I think that 1400 sounds about right, if not 1500. There is one woman out here, I can't remember her ID (sorry), but she is very fit, very thin and puts down 1700-1800 calories a day. Don't be afraid of food.

buffychick - I think 1400 is low, but if you are going to do that be sure to get in that much. When your metabolism is up you should be hungry every 2 1/2 - 3 hours - That is always how I know I am revving higher, I get hungry like clockwork every 3 hours.
Just gradually increase your intake at each meak until you get your calories up.
