After 3 weeks on this program I have lost 7lbs, I weighed myself again today and I am down another 10lbs. I'm not complaining but is this type of rapid weight loss typical in the beginning?? I can say that I have drastically changed my diet and am totally conscience of everything I eat, and I am making some progress on the exercise program. Plus my clothes are getting looser, I went shopping and have dropped a size in pants. As said I'm not complaining in the least but I want to be prepared for some type of leveling off and don't want to get discouraged if thats the case. Thanks for any input!!

What was your beginning weight? You are probably losing some muscle along with the fat, but depending on what you started at it isn't as big of a deal.

If you are losing that much weight though I think you need to look at slightly upping your calories or your body may start thinking that it needs to hold on to the fat for survival.

Congrats to you though....keep up the hard work and you'll hit your goals.

I started at 202, and I'm 5'2".....I am now 185 still 5'2"...and I am eating much more than I ever have, except I am eating healthy foods now. I am finding it really difficult to get enough calories with out going over my fat limit, it's really strange if I'm losing muscle, why would I be able to do more exercises than before, with much more ease?? Still a newbie to healthy living....
