I decided to try this on my off days from lifting. I started with 15 second sprints followed by 45 second walk/jogs. Is that a good plan for implementing this? Should I not do this the day after a leg day or does it matter? Is twice a week enough? How many intervals is good? I did 11 today.

Thanks

First off, it depends on what your goals are. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? HIITs are great for fat burning and it is a matter of preference how one wishes to tailor them. I myself like the minute increments, but for sprints as you say, that can be a long time so the time you have above looks good.

I'm just looking to burn fat. I'm doing a hypertrophy lifting plan right now and want to keep my fat gain under control, so whatever would be best for doing that is what I'm looking for.

I wouldn't suggest doing the HIIT on your leg days mor rather a steady paced cardio if you must, but this should work out well for you. If you are finding that the increments aren't working for you either, you can play around with them a bit. Good luck and let us know how it all works out for you. :)
