I had my second baby 8 months ago. By the time I had the baby I was a blimp. Since, I've worked out pretty inconsistently and lost all of the baby weight. I started working out consistently about 9 weeks ago. I've always had an athletic build and gain muscle easily. My diet sucks, I'll be consistent for a week, and then inconsistent the next. Consistent being eggs, tuna, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, brown rice, and veggies.
Anyway, in the last 9 weeks I've lost about seven punds and have gone down almost two dress sizes. I've made huge muscles gains and have increased in strength quite a bit. I lift pretty heavy most exercises, I warm up and then do 2setsx8reps, and a lot of times I drop the weights for my last set. My cardio I walk to and from gym, and about 30 mins after weight, and run some days. I also try to get in a walk first thing in the morning.
My only problem is that my arms- upper tricep area, and from the navel to mid-thigh(front and back -except gluteus) I'm not leaning out at all. Everywere else I'm leaning out and even seeing much definition and muscular growth.
Any suggestions as to what I can do, more cardio, more consistent diet, lighter weights higher reps? I know I can't spot reduce, but I'm hoping someone can figure out where I'm messing up.
