Hi,
I read about all these endorphins that you're supposed to release after/during exercise, but after I exercise, all I feel is very frustrated, angry, and depressed. What's going on?

Are you spending your exercise time looking in the mirror and cutting yourself down mentally?
Only you can figure out why it leaves you so frustrated..
You must be doing something counterproductive.

Why do you feel that way? Frustrated, Angry? Are you setting a goal that you don't feel you are achieving?

I don't feel depressed about not reaching a goal because I have set goals for myself and reached them, I just in general feel awful. It's not neccessarily the workout, it's the physical act of exercise that leaves me depressed.

Strangely, I can relate Eratchfo...but sitting here thinking about it, it seems that it might be a mometum thing for me. I'm all charged up before and during my workout, but if I don't keep that momentum up after I get home, I tend to drag down in some sort of funk. Not that this helps you any...just thought you might find comfort in knowing that you are not the only one.

I feel the same way. When I get done working out, I feel exhausted, and I am irritable, and depressed. I have on and off problems with depression anyways, so this obviously isn't motivating.
It could be because of not supplying by body with enough food prior to working out, but I'm not sure.

Do you pay much attention to what you eat before hand? I know that depending what I eat I can crash bad after a workout. It has a lot to do with what type of carbs I eat pre-workout and how long until my pwo shake.
