I once read an article explaining how you should train abs based on your goals; unfortunately I currently can't find this article. When should you use heavy weights/low reps and low weights/high reps??
Just treat abs just as another muscle in the body..therefore, train low reps and heavy weight to gain strength in your abdominal region and lower weight and higher repititions for endurance.
