well i live in ct, and i can no longer pay for the gym due to financial troubles, all i have is a large baseball field where i run around to every morning, i walk 30 minutes to get there, run around the field for about 10 minutes, and walk 30 mins back home, my question is, will i burn the same amount of fat and calories in the cold winter as i did in the summer?

Run in the snow and you will work even harder.

I think there are other benifits to running outside thru the winter as well ( I live in Canada and run all winter long) It's a great opportunity to get fresh air on a regular basis and gives your body a different challenge dealing with the cold and the terrain. Just make sure you dress in layers! Nothing like being outside on a clear cold crisp morning.....love it!

Maybe pick up a pair of Cross country skis at a garage sale from someone who bought on impulse. They usually sell for inexpensive and is a great work out.
-------------- Thinking of a new signature line.
