Hey. I'm looking to get into shape again, but the problem is that I have little time and even less energy. I work and go to school, so cooking healthy is hard. I try and get up early to exercise, or, if not, I exercise when I get home, but I just never have any energy.

Questions:
1. Is there anything I can do to spike my energy?
2. Are there any healthy foods I can get from a supermarket or something when I'm at work? Obviously I can't cook at work, and I don't have time to cook when i get home wither. The only takeouts are chinese, which don't offer diet options, pizza, fried chicken, Jamaican or Dominican. Everything around me is either breaded, fried etc. The closest thing to healthy is chinese food, I guess, but it seems so oily (chicken w/ brocoli).

I know most of you cook fro the week on Sunday, and I've tried that, but chicken on Friday just isn't good after it's been cooked on Sunday. Fish can't last that long. Etc. What do you recommend?

Theres a post in the nutrition forum titled hurried mans guide to dieting I think..something along those lines...you could always pick up a salad at the grocer...just be careful with the dressing portion...as far as energy...the green tea tablets work very well for me...not so much energy I think my heart will explode...but enough to feel good about getting what needs to be done,done...and they're cheap...less than 10 bucks at walmart for a 30 day supply.Chinese food is VERY fattening if your ordering take out...If you MUST eat it...stay away from the bottom part...most of the oil is gonna land there...there is some great info in the stickies in the nutrition forum..read through those...and try the green tea tablets...good luck!
