Hey,
I am wondering if chicken thigh is a good source of protein? Its so much cheeper than chicken breast. Is it any less healthy? I know there is more fat but I dont know if it is bad fat.
Thanks

It's not cheaper, you got more out of 1 breast then you do a thigh.
It takes thighs to creat a meal vs just 1 breast and on diet less then 1 breast.
A good breast can be 8 OZ to 12 oz and up cooked and on the 2400 Calories and under intake I'm on right now for diet I eat only 4 oz per meal!
Also to look up the fat fifferences just go to a calories track like the 1 on this site and it will tell you the fat difference oz per oz.

If you're looking to gain, like me, then swithcing it up to thighs every once in a while isn't too bad. There is some more fat, but again, if you're gaining then it isn't horrible.
Breasts tend to dry out more. I still eat a lot of breasts (ha made myself laugh), but I like to switch it up once a week or so and barbecue some thighs.

Just eat what you want and adjust for the calories. If you can't afford breast meat, or prefer the thigh, then so be it, at the end of the day it comes down to calories and activity.

Occasionally, I like to get some pleasure out of eating. I eat a lot of breasts, but much prefer legs and thighs. They have so much more flavor (because they have more fat), so if I eat out at somewhere like El Pollo Loco, I always go for the dark meat. I used to hate breasts...but I'm learning to like them more. And yes, breasts are bigger (except mine, ha ha) but thighs still have quite a bit of meat to them.
