Hi everyone. I've been going to the gym regularly for about a year now and have seen significant gains. But the one part of me that doesnt seem to grow is the upper back, between the top of my neck and my shoulder blades. I do a lot of back and traps exercises like rows and I shrug heavy weights, but its just given me a lot of size and definition at the top of the muscle. I want the area around my shoulder blades and right above it to get bigger, because right now I look kind of awkward because my back is basically flat while my chest sticks out, so I'm looking to compensate.

Any ideas?

lots of HEAVY pull ups, and more rowing, both chest supported and regular.

do you mean bent over dumbell rows and machine rows? I was also told before that changing the angle that I do my shrugs would help. Would that work?

Have you tried barbell rows behind the back,or another one is Reverse grip Military press,Rear pulldowns to the neck, time will tell.

lat pulldowns in the front instead of in the back, the ones in the back are known to cause injuries and you usually hit your neck on the way down.
