I'm semi-new to this community. I've struggled with being overweight most of my life, right now i'm 17 around 5 foot 10 or 11 and probably around 215 pounds. I've done Taeo Bo and jogged outside for about an hour and started exercise routines (like the one here) but I'm a bit confused about how to lose weight. Am I suposed to do Cardio like jogging, Taeo Bo, etc, or am I suposed to do strength training like the things this site recommends in my plan. Also, is there a way to "pause" a plan on this site, like say if I'm going on vacation for a few days? It's my understanding that its basicly math to losing weight - output needs to be less than input, and I just need to eat when I'm hungry and not overeat and idolatrize food. It's not so much that I'm a pig as that sometimes when I"m bored i'll eat, which I've tried stopping, but the confusion about what exercises and stuff to do kind of discourages me.

Don't worry about this exercise or that, am or pm, eating before or after exercise or any of that, for losing weight it sounds like you already know what you need to do, use more energy than you take in. I wouldn’t focus on either cardio or weights though, a mix of both is ideal.
I don't know if you are able to pause your routine, however with pro you can move the dates back and forth, I don't know if this option is available in the free version however.
If you find yourself wanting to eat something out of boredom or comfort, try breaking the habit by replace it with another one, like going for a glass of water or grabbing something healthy like a piece of fruit, after a few weeks of this you prob will have changed your habit.
Hope this helps and good luck
