What is the proper foot and hand positions (width) ? When staring the move should your feet be under the bar? What is the proper form? Finally, what muscle is the deadlift working? I appreciate your help.
Depends... I pull close stanced because I have powerful quads and use this to my advantage when breaking the weight from the floor. You can also pull wide stanced (sumo). It depends on your strengths/weaknesses/leverages, and what you are training for.
As for what muscle is it working, all of them.
