Hello. I am a college student 18, 6ft, 132lbs, 32waist, measurement around stomach is 33 i have a small gut. My problem is the excess fat on my chest...man boobs. When people see me at first they think I'm the skinnest person they've seen, but I have large man boobs for a person my size. I'v had them since a kid, but lost a lot of weight, about 180lb was my peak at 16. But know the chest fat is still there, I've never taken my shirt of in public...to embarassed, I where button down shits all the time to hide them. I've read all sorts of forums, can't target spots, diet and excersie or surgery is only way. I run about 2 miles a day now eat a low calore, very low fat diet. I usually lift, but for the past 2 weeks it has not been avaiable. I try to eat more protein but it is hard to get sometimes b/c I'm afraid of gainig weight from the extra calories. I have a whey protein shake sometimes, 110cal 22g protein 1g sat. fat, 3 fat, but I'm afraid of gaining the extra calores because it doesn't rally fill me up. I eat alot of egg whites. Is there anything I can do to get ready for beach in a month or two, besides surgery? Thanks.

hiya bobisnew..i was thinking why dont u try some chest exercises and fill you boobs with muscle? just a thought and muscles needs protein to grow so dont worry bout getting fat on it as long as you giv the protein something to do. dont concentrate to much on cardio, try weigh training to gain sum muscle not necessarily mass but muscle to fill the fat maybe if you build your chest up the muscle will eat the fat around it?
coz it sounds like loose skin fill it
leme know how you get on...all the best and remember every day counts so keep going in 2 months you will have made a difference but keep at it
takecare

why are you afraid to gain weight? at 132lbs and 6ft you are probably one of the lightest tall people ever. if anything you should eat more, lift heavy (use a routine on here) and build up everything. Other than surgery, some people suggest nolvadex or fermara(sp?). either way, by adding on some more muscle, it will take away from your chest. think about it, you are skinny as a rail cept the one area. so people look at that. make your body larger with muscle and people wont notice as much. good luck

Focus on doing heavy compound exercises for fairly low reps..
Squats
Deadlifts
Bench Presses
Military Presses
Chin Ups
Dips
etc
3-5 sets of 5 reps...
and eat more...think how much u eat.....now double that...however no junk food...noo juices, no soda...only liquid calories should tea, water, plain coffee...
eat lean sources of protein(lots of fish, chicken, eggs....lean meats, etc)...try eating double your bodyweight in grams...
eat healthy fats...avacados, fish, nuts, seeds, olive oil, etc...
focus eating less carbs...and stick with about 1-2g per lb...and mostly complex varieties(rice in a shell...brown, wild, black, etc....buckwheat, yams, sweet potatoes, etc...
You'll need to eat a lot...you can also include pasta, potatoes, etc with lesser portions...
the more muscle u gain the higher your metabolism will be...right now your metabolism is relatively slow...

Thanks alot for the replies. I'll try to eat more, but the problem is that my family is vegitarian, not me. I eat alot of cereal, oatmeal, bread (cold cut sandwhich), and potatoes. How can I get more lean meat, do I just go to the store by chicken and cook it dry (need a little help please), srry I'm new to this, never cooked meat. What can I do? I had a meal plan in college so I had easy access to a variety of food but now I'm on my own. Also, won't eating too many calories add to my chest fat, should I still be taking whey protien shakes? I drink alot of diet drinks, but still lots of water? Is that bad (diet drinks)? The meat I eat is the packaged oscar myer king, fat free only. Can someone also give me a general calorie intake. Thanks alot.
