bench press 1rm/repetitions+sets ratio

im 13 and i bench 165. i weigh 160. i do three sets of ten monday, wednesday, and friday every week in the weight room at my school. for sets i do my max minus 50 pounds. so right now, i am doing 115 for sets, at three sets of ten. if anybody has any suggestions or tips or anything they wanna say bout this bench press routine, say it now plz.

Do you do lifts other than bench? What about back work, leg work, shoulders, etc...? Honestly the best way to continue to grow is to work your entire body.

On another note, I think this will lead to overtraining super quickly and your gains will stop, and you could risk hurting yourself. I would drop at least 1 day off of that routine for bench press. 2 days a week MAX, but make sure to start lifting the rest too.

I agree with Ogono, up the weight and lower the reps a little. If you max 165, then maybe do 115x12, 135x8, 155x4 or something along those lines.

Still a non-beleiver when it comes to changing up up your routine to make gains. Being your only 13, I would choose a routine from the site and just use it along with eating well and getting your rest. Thats how you'll see gains.
