Hello,
I am a novice to workout, and I just started using the leg press machine..But when I am doing the leg press, do my knees have to come all the way down? Or can I just do little pulses at either the top or the bottom?

thanks so much

I'm pretty sure that your knees need to come down to a 90 degree angle, at least that's what I've been told in the gym. If you're ever unsure about proper form, you can just ask somebody at your gym who's more experienced.

90 degree angle formed by your knee. Your upper and lower leg should come down to around 90 degrees. Some times though I like to go lower.

Your already at a 45 degree angle, knees need to come to as close to body as possible. Knees to chest. Only thing worse than a partial squat....is a partial leg press.
