Hello everyone. I've been working out now pretty much since November and am actually incredibly proud of myself for sticking with it this long. It's now part of my life. I have gotten much stronger, have seen small improvements in muscle size, and would still like to loose some fat, since I don't seem to be loosing much.

The reason I posted is because on Mondays and Wednesdays I get to work at 8am, get out of work at 4:30pm, drive to my parents house to eat quickly at about 5pm, then head to my EMT class at 5:20pm which goes until 10pm. I would really like to know if there is something that I could do in that 15 to 20 minutes (not including eating) that I could do that would be of ANY benefit. Thats a very small time frame but I would really like to use those days as possibly losing fat or something. I work out Tuesday, Thursday and Friday otherwise but it is all strength training, or running only if I have time.

Just looking to see if anyone has any ideas, even something small I could do. Thanks again.

If you are lifting Tuesday, Thursday, Friday that should be sufficient with the right program. What is your lifting routine. are you training for strentgh or endurance?

If you do a total body, superset lifting routine 3 days a week with good intensity you should see some fat loss and muscle definition. I would switch to Tuesday, Thursday Saturday lifting and do HIIT on Friday for about 20 minutes. On Monday and Wednesday you are busy enough - try to stay relaxed and destress on those days, important for growth and recovery.

Take Sundays as a rest day. You have earned it!

You don't need to work out every day to get results. And the benefits of strength training carry over to your cardiovascular system.
