It has been awhile since my last visit to both the gym and freetrainers. I am starting up again tonight but I don't want to go crazy trying to pick up where I left off and injure myself and am looking for a routine to get things going again before starting with one of the Freetrainer programs. Anyone have any suggestions ie. lighter weight & more reps, Full-body or split... etc.

Cheers and glad to be back :):dumbbell:

hey jsvez - start with an 8 week break in program, twice a week lifting - total body super set upper/lower like squats and presses, deadlifts and rows, crunches. Do 2-3 sets of 12-15. On a different two days do some cardio - one day steady state and one day HIIT. that should ease you in and prepare your joints/tendons for harder work. after 8 weeks, take a few days, up to a week, off to fully recover and plan your nest level of lifting.

Welcome back!

Thanks asimmer, that is indeed good advice which I will follow. I have added some pick up hockey and squash as well to spice up the cardio a bit.
