Has anyone ever gotten stretch marks across muscle? I know you can get stretch marks when you rapidly lose and then gain weight but this is muscle not fat and i am always slim...Some of the bigger guys in my gym class get them...i have one on my left bicep, it is where the bicep meets the shoulder muscle slightly above the arm pit hair and his purple...the past few weeks i have been working with very heavy weights(3-6) when doing bicep exercises (once a week). Is this a sign that the muscle is growing at a good rate? help pls

I believe you will find it to be so. Not much to worry about, they will normally dissapate. If not, some fade cream may help.

thanks...Glad to be seeing some improvement. I've had difficulty gorwing my biceps (although my triceps don't share the same problem). I am not worried aesthetically speaking... thanks again

what do you mean by fade cream? can you pick it up at a drug store?

The best 'fade cream' is TIME....that's it...yes there are tons of different methods of dealing with stretch marks but they require to be applied 3-4 times daily and may or may not produce results....stretchmarks naturally tend to fade over time until barely visible....

Ive always had tight skin and a low body fat and when I first started doing weights and seeing gains I noticed I was getting stretch marks as well that’s why they call them stretch marks right? The muscle or growth stretches the skin.

Yes...I get bigger and bigger ones....the old ones faded so much I can hardly see them...new ones are pretty bad tho...I was a pretty skinny kid after the growth spurt hit me....so gaining muscle has been brutal in regards to stretchmarks...you just have to live with it....it's not a big deal....within a few years those stretch marks disappear...that seems like a long time but it's not...

okay i recently lost 12 lbs and my boobs got a little smaller, which is okay except for the fact that the stretch marks on my chest seam to have gotten longer and more noticeable... why?
