Here's me situation:
I want to lose weight off my abs (who doesn't?). I need to burn off about 2 inches (I'm guessing 10-15 pounds of fat, but that's just a random number).

I am currently nursing a sprained ankle which prohibits me from walking and I don't have a pool, so swimming is out. What is the best approach here?

My girlfriend is going away for a few weeks (about 3) and i would like to make some headway while she's gone. i'm gunning for abs, and i know abs in 3 weeks is an absurd goal, I would like to make some sort of noticible strides. What should i do?

I love how he gets an injury and the only muscle group he thinks about are his abs. lol.
Do what you can, even if its bodyweight exercises. Do it in circuit training style. I had a trainee last year that was paralyzed from the waist down, and I still got her heart rate up...
Also, the key here is diet.

Well, to be honest my efforts aren't for vanity first and foremost. I feel that the bulge affects my posture and I can feel the added stress on my back, so abs or not, i really just want to lose the belly. I'm tired of having the weight there. granted, i don't have a huge belly, but the weight i can still feel and it annoys me. So, I'm interested in using all the free time ill have to try and get rid of it. I was on a fat ridding routine for about a week before i blew out my ankle, and now i don't know what to do because cardio isn't really an option and i won't be able to run for a month or two apparently.

So then do upper body circuit training.
And a sprained ankle is no reason to have to stop lower body exercise completely. I broke my foot in 3 places and still managed to get in leg workouts. Whats to stop you from hyperextensions, leg curls, etc.?
