Hey there guys I have that knee prblem I've talked about is there any other leg workouts I can do thet wont put pressure on my knee such as these deadlifts they are great, but when I do them I tend to only feel my left leg is stretching why is this?

Thats generally how it feels. The back of your leg should feel like it is stretching, that is your hamstring. I never felt much pressure on my knees though, I feel more pressure on my knees doing squats. Then again I straight leg deadlift about 150 (deadlift is a little higher) and squat about 170...

Things to think about are this. When you do a straight legged deadlift, your knees are slightly bent, but not too much because you dont wanna turn it into a regular deadlift, and dont lock them in thats a good way to damage them. Lift the weight up and lower it at the WAIST only, it helps to visualize this sometime. Regular deadlifts require you to move your legs first (generally moving your knees in from a bent position and lifting with your lower back to get the weight up, then bend up at your waist and straighten out) thats the main differences.

I got a collapsed arch in right foot, and for some reason I have more difficulty feeling it in my left side....u can wear orthopedic inserts or use insoles....keep feet event, but change the width of the stance...

how much you bend your knees doesn't matter as much as keeping them from moving as u would in a regular deadlift...I have done compeltely straight SLDLs and I like them...and do them from time to time with good success....some people don't like how they feel so they bend knees slightly.....the more u bend your knees the lower u'll need to go to feel the 'stretch'....which may mean doing them off a platform...

I love doing extensions on Glute/Ham machine....with weight ...DBs or plates....hits glutes, hams, and lower back...emphasis shifts depending on wher eu rest the pad....
