After recently having a upper respiratory infection and noticing ever decreasing strength in my bench, I am going to take some time off. I have been training for months straight and recently with very heavy compound lifts. I think that by taking some time off for a bit, my strength will go up and maybe I can get my gains back on track. How long should I take a break?

Take a week off and then check how you're feeling...then depending on that you can choose to take another week off or go back to training....
Make sure to eat well and take fish oil capsule supplement...to preserve muscle....
