Ok I am 5'6" and 140 lbs when I began working out I gained like 13 lbs in 8 weeks I did that by taking creatine with some sugar in it after my workout and after that immediately downing a protein drink.. I quit doing that and the gains haven't been coming as steadily but does anyone here think that after gaining 18 lbs or so over 4 months that maybe for my size my gains are suppose to taper off at this stage, or should I still be able to gain at a decent rate?

It's not unusual to make rapid gains for awhile. It tapers off for most folks.

Ok? Yeah quick gaines don't last forever now is when the hard work starts to kick in!!

I would love to know though what one of the pro's maybe bb1 thinks of taking the creatine with sugar and then a shake, I've never tried that would love to know if it works!

It worked really well for me. Unfortunately, I have had a cold the past few days or so and I haven't been able to hit the gym so I have lost a couple of lbs :( I took some creatine before hitting the gym too.

And generally, in a sense it does work, but I did a lot of other things to ensure quick gains too. I also took some MRP bars, which had like 26 grams of protein a piece about twice a day, and then my after workout shake had about 36 grams of protein or so, so that alone was ensuring about 75 grams of protein not even in meals. I would eat several times a day that had some protein in it too, so that's probably why I grew so much.
