I am 40yrs old and 5'3 starting on the high protien low carbs program with a work out program not quite as east as it us to be. My goal is to lose body fat and not gain to much mucscel. But my body builds very fast on muscel for some reason so I am doing more cardio than weight training. Any sujestion or advice would be great. I am also looking for food group and there contents. Such as fat, protien, carbs, etc. And what are some good fiber foods to eat

Well stay with what works for you. Just remember that muscle weighs more than fat and the more you have the less fat you will carry. The foods you want to eat are really basic....tuna, chicken, steak, other fishes, green veges. Stay away from the processed foods IE the breads sugar, flour etc.

Aren't we the lucky one!! I really don't think you have to worry too much about building too much muscle. It will level off for you, and the resistance training is vital to what you want to accomplish. Lean mass runs your metabolism basically at rest, so the better your lean mass to BF is, the more calories you burn on a daily basis. If you drop your resistance training, you will lose lean mass along with fat, and you will not get the results you are after, which I am sure is a toned tight body. Cardio will not give you this. Mutt gave you a good start on your foods, add to that cottage cheese, sweet potatos, oatmeal, and you have a well rounded start. Get your fats from high EFA sources such as Flax oil, Fish oils, monosaturated fats like Olive oil. Good luck to you. For what you are trying to accomplish, a 50/30/20 ratio P/C/F should be good for you.
