Just curious How fast can your muscles grow and what is the influence of age on muscle growth?
I for example am 35 years and have gained approximately 8 kilos of muscle in 2.5 years?
Don’t know whether this is good bad or average?

One way to gauge it is this way (sorry I use pounds) measure your biceps, one inch of growth is around 10 lbs of muscle. This is just a basic measureing tool. The rate is different for everyone and yes as you get older it can slow down but that is not always the case...if you eat and train the right way you can add a good amount per year

Is that my imagination, or is that Lurch in your photo? One of my favorite shows. Sounds like you are making gains. I would go with my gut. If you are pleased with your gains, then keep doing what you are doing. To try to push your gains more, then you have to adjust your weights and calorie intake. It is extrememly hard to say what at any age someone should gain. It is very much dependent on your training and dietary intake. Just keep gaining! Age should not be a barrier.
