I am working out 4 days a week with cardio two days a week also. I eat pretty much nothing but healthy foods except usually friday night and Sat. I've only got about 5 pounds I really need to loose then I'll be very slim, but cannot get rid of it! Step up the cardio or what?

what does your diet look like? how much do you weigh? how tall?
what kind of cardio do you do? shorter duration, higher intensity will be best for fat loss. do you do HIIT?

Diet on a usual day?
7am - peice of whole wheat toast and a cup of coffee
10am - myoplex protein shake with 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
around 12 or 1 - usually a protein bar or sandwich with some sun chips
around 3:30 I eat a peice of bread (whole wheat) before the gym
530 - myplex shake with creatine
8pm - dinner (varies, but not too large and consists of the same type of foods with vegies)
My cardio I usually play basketball for about an hour to an hour and a half

You need to take in more balanced food...where's the protein for breakfast? Try eggs, or a slice of lean back bacon. What type of sandwich? (btw I would watch the bread intake and have some rice or potatoes occasionally instead) Sun chips only have the illusion of healthiness..Insead of bread before the gym...try some yogurt...Try and add more veggies throughout the day and have proper balanced meals with both carbs and proteins....

sorry jimi you're wrong.
protein has been shown in a number of studies to aid in burning fat. adding more carbs has the potential to be stored as fat if they are unused. and whats the point of eating more carbs to burn off in a workout? then you're back where you started.. if you increase protein and leave your carbs the way they are.. your body will run through your carbs and hit your fat stores.. as the protein protects your muscle and helps with the rebuilding process.
shaps, the most efficient cardio you can do would be high intensity short duration. ever hear of HIIT? look into it through fitbuddy. maybe increase your cardio up to a few more times each week to create more of a caloric deficit. make sure you are getting ample protein, however, about 1- 1.5 gr per lb of bodyweight.
in my opinion, it looks like you arent eating enough. your body may be hanging onto that last little bit of fat for energy. check around the internet for some sites that can calculate your daily needs based on your basal metabolic rate, activities, etc. freetrainers here has one, but it tends to be a bit on the high side.
