does anyone know any supplements or just normal foods that will help you workout a bit longer than normal in the gym? cos after like an hour of workout im tottally tired and dont have the energy to lift anymore, although i want to workout more my body doesnt want to. im sure all of us have experienced this. what should i eat like before the workout in order to lengthen my workout period? (well, apart from sugary stuff, whcih i know can give u some glycogen for the muscles)

After an hour you are doing more harm than good.
If you must workout for such a long time period, drink some gatorade during the workout.

yea maybe, cos i lift very heavy for fewer reps, to build some more muscle. because after about an hour i just cant do a set for a bicep curl for example, my arm just wont do it.

200mg caffeine pill(generic for AWAKE...sold OTC) + 81mg aspirin will give you a boost in energy...take both 30 min before gym....caffeine gives you energy boost while aspirin prolongs it.....don't drink coffee/tea/soda for 5-6 hours after taking this stack....

what are you goals? training over an hour might be alright depending on your goals.....if you're simply trying to bulk up...ie build muscle...then keep it 45-60 min tops..if you're a strength/power athletes 1.5-2 hours might be ok with longer rest periods between sets...

why in the h.... would you do over an hour of bicep exercises? that's about as pointless as doing 100000000 crunches to get a 6pack.....10-12 sets MAX....do a few sets

Chin Ups: 3 sets of 8
EZ BAr Curls: 3 sets of 8
Alt DB Hammer Curls: 3 sets of 8

might be a sample bicep workout if you're trying to build size....with a couple of sets of warm ups....pick weight which you can do with ideal form for 8 reps...where you can't do another rep after 8....1 sec up with no momentum/or help from other bodypart/elbows fixed......1-2 sec pause at the top....1 sec down....

but seriously...no matter the goal...stick to bread and butter compound exercises....use some of the 'energy' on squats, deadlifts, chin ups, bench press, dips.....I assure you ...your biceps will be plenty tired after doing few sets of chin ups where there won't even be a need for a specific bicep workout...

what if i drink a cup of coffee be4 the workout? will that help? im not really into taking any pills. my goal is to bulk up a bit. so i guess an hour is alrite after all. just that i want to train more of my body parts and dont have the physical strength to do so. will something like a can of 'red bull' help be4 the workout?
