Just thought i'd share somthing with all of you all.....I went to a sporting goods store which sells new as well as used sports equitment.

One of which is these new weights .....that you turn a dial.....and you can adjust the weight from 5 to 55lbs....or so. I descided to try them out.....see if they worth the 400bucks.

I picked them up to use them.....they are huge.....even if you have just 5lbs on them, they are still more than a 1ft long....making them very bulky, if you where to db bench them, your hands would be more that 18in apart at the closest.....not all that great. And no matter what weight was on there it felt heavier than its soposed to...

Next when I went to rerack them,it took me more than, 1 min to get them back in the grooves, and fit in the craddle correctly to adjust the weight. When I did adjust the weights, it didn't work right.....and I had 10lb on one side of the db.....and 20 on the other side....

the plastic looked quite brittle as well.

IMO......thumbs down...buyer beware......again just my opinion.

yeah, they looked pretty difficult to use in the advertisements too. I will stick with good ol fashion iron, thank you very much.
