Did you sign up for an FT program? I would suggest the tone and weight loss prgram, along with the 12 week ab program. But you must know that having a nice ser of abs only comes through following a good diet. If you sign up for the FT program, they will set up nutritional goals for you that should give you a starting point for eating healthier. Also, doing cardio for 30-45 minutes, 3-5 times a week is highly recommended.

What are some fun cardio excersises that you would recommend...I know running is the normal good cardio activity but I am looking for something a little more fun...your recommendations would be much appreciated!

I think I answered this in another thread, but I recommend basketball and tennis mainly. It can be really helpful to find a good high cardio sport you like to play and do that three times a week.

i just wanna say that doin ab exercies wont get rid of your stomach, you have to do cardio in order to accomplish that, or just start cutting cal to have a negative cal expentiture at the end of the day.

Jsambu is right. If you build up your abs real strong but still have a layer of fat, then your stomach will actually look bigger. Diet and cardio are the way to go.

Hi, I to have a stomach that I am not happy with, don't want to gross anyone out but at present it hangs over my jeans. YUCK anyway the gym instructor said running is good and swimming. Also what Jsambu said really interested me about your stomach looking bigger if you work on your abs but still have fat there, maybe that is where I may be going wrong.

You're going to have to burn that fat, either before or after you get your 6 pack... most peeps recommend doing it before, since dieting can also include loss of some muscle.

Want something fun to do for aerobics? Have you tried TaeBo? I like that!

I sympathize with the stomach fat dilemma. I've been working on my abs for a while now, and it's a long, hard struggle! Don't worry too much about targeting, because the abdominal fat only comes off at the same rate as everywhere else, and its easy to get discouraged when a few crunches doesn't do the trick. Cardio has helped me a lot, running, elliptical xtrainer, stair machine. For abs, I've been doing crunches ( regular, verticle, excersize ball and decline bench ), seated and bent over twists, and lots of leg raises . I like to mix it up. I just started using the ECA stack recomended in the nutritional articles, but it's too soon for me to tell if it's helping. Anyway, just keep at it and you'll get there!
