i been working out for about a month now and im about 5'9 and some were around 150-155 and im trying to bulk up and im pretty skinny my workout schedule is DAY 1-chest, abs Day 2-back, biceps, traps Day 3 thighs, calves and then it repeats and im seeing results with every thing exept my chest i still have an 8 year chest and i dont know what to do i mainly just do bench press and incline barbell i dont have any machines just freeweights and i do low rep high weight. i also do crunches on chest days and some pilates for my abs and if any thing they seem to be getting more flat less hard and less visible.

Give it some time, you say you are seeing results in other areas, maybe your chest is just your genetic weak point.

There is a chest mass gain program here, look under exercise programs, you should be able to select free weights only versions of the routines.

Otherwise, try doing chest first workout of the week, first thing, 4-6 sets of 2-3 exercises. So, incline presses, flat presses and flyes or push-ups. Then add chest in on another workout later in the week, do a little less weight, more reps. That may be enough to spur growth.

Your abs need resistance work as well, if you want thgem to be bigger and more visible - alternate the pilates and no-resistance ab exercises with weighted exercises.(every other workout)(and let them rest a day inbetween)

I am trying a new chest program and I love it. I do two warm up sets at 135 then I go up to 185-195 and try to knock out 5 sets of 5 reps. I may up it to 7 reps, but my chest hasn't been this sore in a while so I know it's working well.
