It seems to me that a lot of people that come out of Jail come out looking quite buff. No steroids in jail, I'm quite sure that they arent eating right or watching caloric intakes, yet I see the pecs, chest, shoulders and arms that I have been trying to get for a year. I hear these guys work out every day, theres nothing else to do, so much for the theory of "you need rest fot the muscles to grow". Lastly, these guys are not working out at gold gym, no state of the art equipment in "the bing", so what gives. Tell me experts, whats their secret, somebody should write the "Jailhouse Gym Workout"

They accomplish in 6-8 years of time served what people on the outside accomplish in 3-4? Just a thought.

steroids are quite rampant in prison despite what you may think...as are many other drugs...

yeah, alot of people start their drug habbits in the prison system, which they then take to the outside world, then they commit crimes to pay for their drugs... the system is poopy, haha

It's funny to me how people don't even take the time to fill out their profiles, then respond with some nonesense, or don't even bother reading posts....why not read other peoples posts for a while before deciding to chime in with something meaningful...instead of with something completely arbitrary...
in most prisons, these people work 8-10 hour gyms for 5-10 cents an hour...so a good chunk of their day is working...at least in prisons...there are some low security prisons where it's more like a summer camp..but that's a whole different story....they also spend time reading, watching tv, exercising, etc....the food is pretty decent in prison but by no means great ...

not to mention the also provide inmates with the chance to further their education, complete high school if they never did and various other programs to try to help them 'chage' to be a better member of society once they get out.
they do work all day and like menace said, they make like $1.00 a day. would you go to work for a dollar a day? then they spend their buck on commisary(sp?)
the 'summer camp' like prisons are the low security prisons and federal prison. do you think martha stewart went to a 'real' prison?
and menace i agree, even though i haven't been here that long, i don't 'chime in' unless i have something to say. why bother becoming a part of this forum if you aren't going to fill out a profile or ask a meaningful question?

ksmith everyone is free to speak their mind all they like as long as they don't attack other members or say offensive/rude things...and hopefully say something that's meaningful or related to a post...I just don't see the point of saying 'I don't know what to say' or 'I have nothing to say' or call someone an idiot and then wonder why other members are angry at them...
