Altitude and weight training

I was just wondering what a thousand foot difference in altitude might do to ones workout.

We were vacationing earlier this week and were about a thousand feet higher than at home. I did a workout and noticed towards the end I was feeling light headed and was somewhat naseous. I didn't feel good at all. I did nothing unusual... had some breakfast and everything.

Just wondering if a change in altitude may have contributed to that feeling.
