When going out and buying foods. What are the ingredients that you should stay away from? The ones that are hiding in the packages that you don't see. This could be really helpful to the people that can't find out why they are having a Plateau...

Some ingredients would be partially or fully hydronated oils. Sugar and high fructose corn syrup would also be a couple to avoid. Bleached flour is another.

The closer a food is to it's natural state, the better it is for you. avoid packaged foods, rinse canned beans to lower the sodium, stay away from refined flour.
Bananas can be part of a healthy diet, so can corn and peas.
You need a wide variety of fruits and vegetables for a healthy diet.
You just have to consider calorie content and starch content and eat some foods in moderation.

another one I've found important to look for is whole wheat flour as opposed to enriched wheat flour--if it something says it is enriched, it generally means they've removed all the good stuff and then added something back in!

Nuts.. they're of course good for you, but QUANTITY of anything you should also watch of course. Too many nuts in your diet can certainly take a toll on your weight loss goals.

let me also point out here that just because something is natural that doesnt necessarily mean its good for you. there are plenty of poisonous natural substances out there that could seriously make u ill or perhaps kill you. just to make u aware that natural does not ALWAYS mean good, but is GENERALLY good for u.
