so yeh as i previously stated i would like to lose anoter 10lb (i wonder how many times you've heard that).

Could someone tell me if this sound like a good idea....

- Increase my protien intake
- Decrease my Carbohydrate intake
- Decrease my fat intake

- Run for 20 minutes 5 days a week
- Work out for 30 minutes 5 days a week

I would like to know if people think this is healthy for me to be doing, and is it ok to run right before my workout.

Also, is there a way of finding out how many carbs you use/burn up in a typical day without exersising?

Thoughts?

You could probably optimize your workout cardio/lifting routine a bit. You may need to more clearly come up with your fitness goal in order to do this. Losing 10lbs is pretty vague, to be honest.

Try doing a "Fit Buddy" search (link at bottom of the page) on cardio before/after workout. It's a persistent topic with many opinions depending on your goal.

With that said, ANYTHING is better than being sedentary.

try doing a 3 day split lift routine, and mix in 30-45 min. cardio sessions on the off days. you won't be losing muscle if you are doing both a lifting routine, and cardio on a split. good luck.
