Im 19 years old and lift 4 times a week and run approx 6-8 miles a week and ive lost about 18-20 lbs which was good cause i had a gut but now i dont have the overall mass effect i wanted. Is there nething special i could do to keep burning the fat but gain alot of muscle mass?

Thanks for your help

In general, you can still eat healthy, and lift hard. You will then pretty much stay level on your weight, but slowly lower your body fat percentage. After you get to the bfp you desire you can then increase your good food intake, and lift with heavier sets to slowly gain more muscle. then you are in the bulking phase for a few months. Then trim back down and start with your bulking again.

You wont build a lot of muscle mass if your doing cardio.. If your doing cardio then your burning a lot of calories that could be used to building your muscles. If you want to be big and cut, first you have to get big: Exercise 4 days a week, eat 1.5g of protein per lb you weigh and very high calorie diet (check ft nutrition plan), and get lots of rest.. Then once your the size you want to be that's when you start losing your fat. Your going to gain fat along with the muscle, but you can lose fat after you build it pretty easily.
