i exercise regularly, i am on weight wacthers, i have lost 60 pounds in a year since my baby. but i seem to be at a plateu, and was wondering can diet soda be the reason? i drink alot of it. and water too, but alot of diet soda. should i stop. does the artificial sweetner trigger some kind of insulin response which keeps the fat stored? please help

No the diet soda doesn't do anything of the sort. However it is still not a good idea to drink lots of it. Try the nutrition plans here on FT. Just fill out your profile and what your goals are, and it will break down your diet macros for you.

Ye, it can be playing a part in your plateau.
Diet soda can dehydrate you if it has caffine - that can cause water retention issues.
There is often a lot of "hidden" problems with diet soda too. Check for sodium - also not going to help you lose any weight. And honestly, aspertame is never a good thing.
WW is a great starting point but it is VERY easy to eat an incredably unhealthy diet on WW. I did WW too.
Honestly, I'd say ditch the soda all together. With a healthy balanced diet (calories, carbs, fat, protein - not points) you will notice a difference.
