i was woundering how a sauna/steamroom,can help you lose weight,or can it even do that??

it cannot....you will simple sweat off water weight...which you will promptly gain right back when you rehydrate your body by drinking fluids....

Saunas/steamrooms can actually be bad for your heart.
Speeding up your heart-rate without physical activity isn't actually a good thing. I know some may have differing opinions, but as a person who's had a heart condition since birth I'm just passing along the advise of my 4 cardiologists!

Your body can in fact learn to store water from using the suana or steamroom too much. It will "teach" itself to store water in anticipation of the next session.
It can be effective if you need to make weight for an event, for instance if you are a couple lbs. off and need to weigh in at some type of competition of some sort. But, it is still only water weight, and will come right back.
