I eat about 1800-2000 calories a day. Majority of it from carbs whole grain, good amount of protien but probablly not enough, very little fat from almonds and cheese. I don't religously write things down.
I am not really touching weights... :( My cardio is on the eliptical machine...
I read some more posts on legs... Suposedly heavy lifting works them to hell and they end up lean....

Not quite...heavy lifting helps build muscle...and you also burn more calories by raising your metabolic rate which helps you lose weight and bf and thus become leaner(benefit of weight lifting is that even though you burn less calories thanw ith cardio...your metabolic rate stays elevated for about 24 hours...so you continue to burn more calories)...added muscle also permanently raises your metabolic rate higher so you continue to burn more calories in general....
However you should start doing weight lifting...it's very important for a successful fitness lifestyle.....whether you choose circuit training or some other way to do is up to you...
As per my usual banter I strongly recommend you try setting yourself up on the Nutritiona Tracker on this site. It's pretty eye-opening and gives you realistic goals for a balanced diet.
Give it a try!
