I've heard lots of different ways to schedule your lifting and i was wondering which was is better, to lift one muscle extremely hard one day and do another one teh next day and so on, or to do all upper body one day then all lower then all upper and so on?

Both have advantages. What is your experience level? Usually in the beginning, full body type workouts are ideal as to get your body in shape to work out if that makes sense. As you become intermediate, then splits start to make more sense.

Nice split...should work well for you. You may find that following chest up with legs will be tough....two large heavy bodyparts back to back. See how it goes, it is doable.
