how do i get my lats bigger?

i want to get the Y looking shape with my lats, but whta are some good ways to get them bigger?

Varying grip chins, lat pulldowns(either cable or machines, hammer strength are pretty good, or the cybex rotary type). Chins are king though. Many people do not do them because they are hard, or they can't do many and so go to other stuff. Nothing really works better. If you can hardly do them, get a spot and force them.

close and wide grip chins to the front, and not them weak chinups where you bounce up and down or dont even put ur head over the bar...

For pullups if you are unable to do them the gravitron is great.....then eventually you should be able to do them unaided.

have to say the pull up with a 2 or 3 sec "hold/stretch" at bottom has really helped my "v"
