Just from a quick glance it seems your using quite a bit of protein powder 5 scoops alltogether for a day if i'm reading correctly and i'm guessing that's excluding a PWO shake. I would opt for more whole foods for your protein needs, you will see much better results. I would try and limit you protein powder intake to in the morning or before bed, those are two good times for a shake.

I agree JustenE22 but I'm trying something called protein cycling, supposed to mess with your hormones. I will time it right so that I have a protein shake right after my workout, since i can go anytime during the day. I know a couple of guys who tried plans similiar to this and lost 10-15 pounds without losing strength in 6 weeks, abeit some of that was water. What I will do though is post a picture once a week for 4 weeks to help gauge my results and see if it actually works :).

You could probably see better results than your friends if your able to get a better source of protein than shake, what kind of protein are you using? Have heard or tried of carb cycling before, sounds somewhat similar to what you are doing, on low carb days you up your protein quite high to make up for lost calories. Do a search for "losing strength" there's some good info there.

Keep up the good work. Protein cycling is interesting in theory, but not sure about real life applications. Good luck to you and keep us posted.

look under exercise program at the top of the sreen - fill out the questions and it will generate a routine for you based on your goals.

Why rye bread, not multigrain or whole wheat?

Also what defines a container of low fat yogurt?
