I am experiencing delayed onset muscle soreness, i think...my left calf is swollen about twice the size of my right...I did calf raises on Saturday and the pain didn't come until Monday. How do I relieve the tightness and swelling?

Ice it, and get it checked out, it shouldn't be that swollen just from working out.

I tore my calf muscles once and it took a lot of icing and stretching, and then deep massage. But they were not that swollen,.

Defintiely get to a doc to get it checked out - that degree of swelling is not normal.

this could be something serious...is it really double the size of the other or are you dramatizing?...in any case you may need to go see a doctor ASAP.....i get DOMS after almost every workout and what you're describing seems to be quite a bit different from it...
