Over the years I've dabbled with nutrition and exercising (mainly strength training) but now I really want to get serious. A couple years ago I lost approx. 20 lbs with weight watchers and exercising. Since then I have gained the weight back. The areas I would REALLY like to lose weight and tighten up are my abs, butt, hips, and thighs (like most women). I've never really been very educated on nutrition but would like to learn because as I'm aging, I know that my health is more important than ever and I want to feel good. Any input would be appreciated.
Oh, forgot to mention: I don't have a gym membership but I do have a LOT of free weights and a bench. Also, I am unable to run for cardio (don't have a treadmill and live on a rocky, dirt road in the country). Any other type of cardio I could do? I'd like to eventually get an epliptical (sp?) machine. Any thoughts on that one?

Thanks!

Try the at home program under the fitness resources section. You can fill it out according to the equipment you have.
Good luck!

I love my elliptical machine.

Until you get it you could jump rope, run in place, do jumping jacks, shadow box step up and down the stairs....

Have you tried the FT mass program? It's all laid out for you there and it works. I am sure of that. I've done their mass routine twice with good results. To build up a certain body part you have to do the others as well.

Thanks for the cardio tips. I thought about the jump rope, but I need to find it. I'll look into an elliptical machine. What brand do you have?

As for the mass program, I think I'll try the weight loss and defenition program.

Thanks!
